The Vermont Agency of Agriculture works with food, beverage and forestry businesses to develop domestic and international markets through financial assistance, education, research, market entry, and promotional assistance. The Agency coordinates market research and promotion through In-Country Marketing Representatives and an extensive group of overseas agricultural trade officers.
The Agency offers two primary funding opportunities to support marketing at domestic and international trade shows. Funding provided by the Trade Show Assistance Grants and the Branded Program is designed to be complementary, providing businesses of all sizes with financial assistance to attend and exhibit at domestic and international trade shows. Criteria to receive funding ranges from 50% Vermont agriculture content to 50% US agriculture content. The Trade Show Assistance grants will fund any business to business trade show in the US, while the Branded Program has a list of approved domestic trade shows.
