Seek & Savor - Vermont's New Agritourism Marketing Campaign

" "

Introducing Vermont's brand-new Agritourism Marketing campaign - Seek & Savor! Funded by a Federal State Marketing Improvement Program grant from USDA in 2023, the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets, Vermont Department of Tourism, University of Vermont Extension, Vermont Fresh Network, and other partners are excited to share this new initiative to spread the word about Vermont's authentic food and farm experiences to eaters and curious travelers both within and outside of the state.

For questions about the Seek & Savor campaign or any of the items below, please contact Kristen Carrese at Kristen.Carrese@vermont.gov.

Free Upcoming Agritourism Marketing Workshops

The marketing campaign will take place Spring 2025 - Fall 2026. If you're a farmer who hosts agritourism activities on your farm, or an agricultural service provider or food systems organization, there will be many opportunities to get involved, but it all begins this winter at our free workshops on Marketing Your Agritourism Operation! The workshops will be hosted by VAAFM and local marketing agency, Place Creative Company, who designed the campaign. They will cover a range of important topics, including optimizing your Google business page, utilizing social media effectively, working with local media, and more. At these workshops, we'll share a toolkit of resources to help you join the statewide marketing campaign and align your branding with Vermont’s growing agritourism movement.

Each workshop will cover the same content, offering three convenient opportunities to attend:

  • Thursday, January 30th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Virtual): Sign up here!
  • Monday, February 10th 10:00 - 11:30 AM: This workshop will be in person ONLY and will take place at the VTrans Dill Building A in Berlin. Sign up here!
  • Tuesday, February 25th 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Virtual): Sign up here!

This is a fantastic opportunity for farmers, whether new to agritourism or looking to refine their marketing efforts, to learn practical strategies, connect with fellow producers, and become part of the statewide campaign. It's also ideal for agricultural service providers and food systems organizations who want to support farmers with their marketing efforts and/or join the campaign themselves.
