One of the goals of the Plant Industry section is to conduct regulatory, inspection, and educational programs that protect the health of Vermont's native and cultivated plants. Plant Health staff serve as the Agency's authorities on plant pests and agricultural quarantines, and also provide liaison with other state and federal regulatory officials regarding these issues.
