Announcing 2022 Marketing and Branding Services Grant Awards

The Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center is pleased to announce 10 recipients of the second round of the Dairy Marketing and Branding Services Grant. Recipients spanned the Northeast region. These funds allowed processors to access professional marketing and branding services to elevate their businesses through marketing tactics, brand improvements, and overall strategy. Recipients were required to hire a professional marketing/branding contractor to develop strategy or content. Awards ranged from $30,000-$50,000 with a total of $408,630.  

  • 5 Spoke Creamery of Goshen, NY will receive $50,000 to work with a consultant in the development of a marketing plan, which will focus on online engagement through social media and a redesign of the website.   

  • Bell & Goose Cheese Company of South Hampton, NH will receive $31,480 to work with a consultant to build a cohesive marketing strategy and marketing materials.  

  • Bohanan Farm of Hopkinton, NH will receive $30,000 to engage with consultants to develop content, gather assets, redesign, and redeploy their website.    

  • Hun-Val Dairy Farm of Ringoes, New Jersey will receive $50,000 to work with a consultant to design an effective rebranding campaign that improves the grantee’s digital presence, freshens its logo, and creates a roadmap to reaching new markets.   

  • King Brothers Dairy LLC of Schuylerville, New York will receive $49,500 to engage an outside branding and marketing firm to re-brand offerings, then develop a strategic plan and direction for comprehensive program to market products through existing and new marketing channels.    

  • Oake Knoll Farms of Foxborough, Massachusetts will receive $50,000 to engage with consultants to develop a comprehensive digital marketing campaign.   

  • Three Charm Farm of Alfred, Maine will receive $43,400 to work with a consultant to create a strategic marketing plan and develop consistent graphics that represent their brands to be used in marketing collateral moving forward.    

  • Upstate Niagara Cooperative of Rochester, New York will receive $30,000 to work with a marketing company to develop an e-commerce platform for people to access their product more conveniently.    

  • Von Trapp Farmstead of Waitsfield, Vermont will receive $40,500 to engage with marketing consultants to update their marketing presence and branding to reflect the attributes of their products, and the story of their third-generation farm.    

  • Anonymous cheesemaker of PA was awarded $33,750 to build on previous marketing work with a focus on their website and customer acquisition.
