The Land Use Section of the Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets focuses on agricultural land use planning, policy and the intersection with other governmental jurisdictions. The focus of the Land Use Section includes Act 250 Criterion 9(B) review, farmland conservation, Current Use, and fostering policies to support agricultural operations in the State of Vermont including diversified and valued-added agriculture.
