A three-part webinar series, hosted by University of Vermont Extension and Cornell University, will cover a number of aspects of growing dry beans commercially.

Webinars will take place on the following dates:
- February 20: Dry Bean Disease Management with Dr. Sarah Pethybridge, School of Integrative Plant Science Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology Section, Cornell AgriTech
- February 27: New Dry Bean Varieties: Improving the Production of Heirlooms without Losing the Culinary Characteristics with Travis Parker, Department of Plant Sciences, University of California-Davis
- March 5: Dry Bean Farmer Panel. Growers will discuss their experiences growing dry beans from harvesting and cleaning to storage and markets. Speakers include Nazirahk Amen, Purple Mountain Organics, Tacoma Park, Maryland; Kevin Messing, Sheridan Acres, Ubly, Michigan; and John Wepking, Meadowlark Farm and Mill, Ridgeway, Wisconsin.
