The Vermont Dairy Producers Conference celebrates the dairy industry and the farmers who work tirelessly to provide milk to individuals across Vermont and beyond. This year’s conference will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in South Burlington, Vermont. It features innovative sessions led by industry experts and provides an opportunity to connect with more than 200 farmers from across the Northeast and representatives from more than 50 dairy-related organizations.
This year’s conference features five well-known speakers from across the United States, sharing information about topics ranging from milk production to farm transition planning.
Dr. Kirby Rogstad (Ohio State University) will provide a presentation on hot diets and their impact on the gut. Jacob Shapiro (Cognitive Investments) will discuss Geopolitics and the future of American agriculture. Dr. Ryan Breuer from University of Wisconsin-Madison will give a presentation on calf care. Dr. Andy Halloway (Elanco Animal Health) will host a practical conversation about dairy carbon credits. Finally, attendees will hear from motivational speaker Bruce Vincent.
Registration for the 2025 Vermont Dairy Producers Conference opened January 1, 2025. The cost is $30 for farmers, $75 for individuals working in education or government, and $125 for agricultural business representatives through February 10 (when ticket prices increase) and includes access to conference proceedings, lunch, and light refreshments.
