USDA/NRCS VAAFM Press Conference - On Thursday, September 17th, the Agency of Agriculture and USDA/NRCS hosted a press conference to announce the new 'Pay-forPhosphorous' grant program. We were honored to have U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, USDA/NRCS State Conservationist Vicky Drew and Vermont Agriculture Secretary Anson Tebbetts join us to speak to the media and others in our virtual press conference. We were also joined by two Vermont farmers for their perspectives on this new program, and the Deputy Director of the VAAFM Water Quality Division Ryan Patch who provided answers about the technical aspects of the program moving forward.
