Job Title: Retail Farmstand Manager 

Job Description: 

This position deals primarily with retail sales: helping our customers and the restocking and display of vegetables and plants sold at our farmstand in Starksboro. It also involves some lawn mowing and care of display flower bed. It could be either part-time or full-time.

Requirements:

  • Reliable.
  • Cheerful and comfortable dealing with the public.
  • Organized and able to work productively on your own.
  • Physically fit. Ready willing and able to do grounds maintenance: Digging, planting and maintaining flowerbeds , lawn mowing etc.
  • You must be available Saturdays and Sundays. (There is some accommodation for occasional weekends off)
  • You must be available from early May through at least mid September.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is cheerful
  • Likes dealing with the public
  • Is well organized and hard working
  • Doesn't mind working in the dirt
  • Is able to keep things really neat and clean.
  • Who has enough flexibility in the rest of their life to adjust their work schedule as the season changes.

Other possible additional work involved if this is to be full-time:

  • Field work
  • Washing and packing wholesale orders
  • Wholesale deliveries
