Job Title: Field Worker, Retail and Delivery
Job Description:
This person will have the opportunity to do some of everything: Working in the field, helping at the Farmers' Market and our farmstand, washing and packing vegetables, and doing deliveries in our truck. It's an exciting opportunity for the right person. However because of the wide variety of jobs you'll be doing, it has a fairly long list of requirements.
Requirements:
- You need to be in good health.
- You must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- You must have a valid Vermont driver's license
- You must be able to endure extended periods of time standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
- You must have some weekend availability. Sometimes Saturday, sometimes Sunday. Not every week. We can be very flexible.
- You must be available through Thanksgiving.
- You must be comfortable working with the public at our Farmstand and at the Farmers' Market.
Special consideration will be given to those who:
- Have previous on-farm experience.
- Have experience tractor driving.
- Have experience driving a truck.
- Have experience driving a vehicle with a standard transmission
Job Duration: Seasonal - May through Thanksgiving
