Notification of Intended Hive Importation

THIS APPLICATION IS NOT A LEGAL HONEY BEE ENTRY PERMIT

Pursuant to 6 V.S.A. §3032: bees, used equipment, or colonies shall not be brought into the State of Vermont unless approved by the Secretary, by permit.

Anyone responsible for transporting bees, nucs, packages, colonies or used beekeeping equipment into the State is required to complete this application.

The completed Notification of Intended Hive Importation form must be submitted at least 14 days prior to arrival into Vermont.

Additionally, a valid health certificate from the state of origin shall be provided to the state Apiculturist, at least 10 days prior to arrival.
