A free workshop at the Barton Municipal Hall will discuss the challenges and success of growing hemp this season, and include an update on federal and state hemp regulations & policies. Join the Caledonia & Orleans County Natural Resources Conservation Districts, UVM Extension’s Heather Darby, and representatives from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets for a workshop covering what worked and what didn’t work – focusing on soil and water quality – during the 2019 hemp growing season.
