Building Climate Resilience for Organic Farms

Description: Organic practices can mitigate climate impacts. We will explore new research on cover crops, soil amendments, and reduced tillage for climate resilience, soil health, and carbon sequestration. Participants will be invited to share their experiences with flooding and other weather extremes and their strategies for meeting these challenges. This session aims to provide farmers with new practical tools to thrive through the climate crisis. This workshop earns one RAP Agricultural Water Quality education credit.
