New England Dairy’s dairy promotion grant program helps farmers build trust in dairy, educate consumers, and increase consumption. The grant application will be available beginning June 12 and the deadline to apply is July 14. Farmers can apply online: bit.ly/NED-promotion-grants.
Farmers planning local dairy promotion activities can apply for up to $2,400 annually. Examples of activities that would be considered for funding include events that bring dairy into the community, on-farm events, campaigns to connect with consumers on social media, and more. Applicants must be associated with the production of cow milk as a dairy producer.
