Best Management Practices (BMPs)

The Best Management Practice (BMP) program is a voluntary program to assist farmers with on-farm improvements designed to abate non-point source agricultural waste discharges into the waters of the state of Vermont. 

Water Quality Grant Opportunities

Funding for farmers, nonprofit organizations, regional associations, and other entities for the development and implementation of locally-led agricultural water quality programs, projects, as well as research.

Farm to School Grant Program

Fairs & Field Days: Capital Grant & Operational Stipend

The Agency of Agriculture administers two funding opportunities for qualifiying Fairs and Field Days. Combined into one application, fairs and field days can now apply for funds for 20-year capital improvements as well as a stipend for operational expenses. 

Working Lands Enterprise Fund

Working Lands grants fund agriculture and forestry projects that enhance Vermont’s communities, economy, and culture.
