Job Description:
SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY! Tup’s is looking for an evening milker, 4 shifts a week. No prior experience necessary but the right applicant will enjoy working with livestock, treat the animals with care, be reliable and be able to work independently.
Must be able to:
- be on time
- work standing for 4 - 5 hours in one stretch
- be attentive to best practices for animal health
- learn how to correctly operate the milking equipment
- retain and act on sometimes complex sets of instructions
- lift 50lbs
- be comfortable working in a barn and around large numbers of animals
We pay $75 per shift. The start time is 3:00 pm, and a shift currently lasts around 4-5 hours. Shifts will be 3-4 hours by August. We pay for training. We are looking for Monday – Thursday evenings, but if you're open to working weekend evenings we could certainly be flexible! Position is open immediately and could extend beyond the summer if desired.

Tup’s Crossing Farm is a family owned and operated pasture-based dairy in Orwell, VT. We ship milk to Vermont Creamery. Happy goats make more milk!
