The Northeast Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NEASDA) met in June to discuss agricultural issues that are common throughout the Northeast.    NEASDA is made up of representatives from Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Commissioners and Secretaries listened to presentations on hemp, dairy, loss of agricultural land to development, animal health, apiaries and ag energy to name a few.  Secretary Tebbetts is president-elect of NEASDA and his term in office begins in late September 2019.

The NEASDA 2020 Conference will be held June 7th – June 10th at The Lodge at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont.
